Aishwarya's pregnancy and the fact that she can't do films for sometime has stalled work worth Rs.50 crore. "She had signed two films this calendar totaling Rs.50 crore. HEROINE, directed by Madhur Bhandarkar had a budget of Rs.18 crore and Rajkumar Santoshi's film with Aishwarya and Abhishek, titled LADIES & GENTLEMEN, was pegged in the upwards of Rs.30 crore budget. In fact, it was scheduled to commence in the first week of July. Now, given the fact that Aishwarya is four months pregnant, both projects totaling a whopping Rs.50 crore are headed nowhere, courtesy the pregnant pause." Though there are early reports that Madhur is looking for replacement for his project for which he had put in more than one year's pre-production in place, so far nothing has been confirmed by him.
